Our mission

The future is being printed.

PrintHedz exists to put 3D printing into the hands of the next generation, starting in the primary classroom.

What we believe

Every generation has its defining technology.

Yesterday

The computer

It reshaped how the entire world lives and works.

Today

The smartphone

Now it's in almost every pocket on the planet.

Next
Tomorrow

The 3D printer

We believe it's next, and one day there'll be one in every home.

The pupils sitting in classrooms today will grow up with 3D printing woven into everyday life. We want them ready.

From the founder
I've always believed that 3D printing is about to become one of the most important technologies of our lifetime. Just like the computer, and then the smartphone, I think one day there'll be a 3D printer in almost every home.

If we can get these printers into schools now, we're doing so much more than teaching a skill. We're planting a spark. That one lightbulb moment could be the start of a future engineer, a future designer, a young mind that goes on to create something amazing, while learning what I believe will be a fundamental skill in the years to come.

That's why I started PrintHedz.

Why it matters

It only takes one lightbulb moment.

Give a pupil the chance to design something, print it and hold it in their hands, and something clicks. The abstract becomes real. We believe that spark can inspire the engineers, designers and makers of tomorrow, while teaching a skill that's fast becoming fundamental.

What drives us

A few things we hold true.

01

Every child deserves to create, not just consume.

02

3D printing is a skill for life, not a one off lesson.

03

Inspiration starts young.

04

The best way to learn technology is to use it.
